Wikinews doesn't follow it's own rules

Wikinews has a clear guideline how and when to delete content on the site. The first and perhaps most important rule is;
“If in doubt... don't delete!” https://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinews:Criteria_for_deletion
Sometimes it can happen, that content was posted to WIkinews which violates the criteria of a serious article. Then the Wikinews admin has two choice. He can do a speedy deletion which is done with a special template or he can create a formal Deletion request. https://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinews:Deletion_requests
In a recent case about the announcement that the video “Luis Fonsi - Despacito” has reached 4 million dislikes and break a new record worldwide
The WIkinews admin has made his own rules for deletion. The WIkinews article https://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Despacito_video_hits_4_million_dislikes was deleted without using the speedy deletion procedure, nor using a delition request. Can we trust WIkinews anymore, if important headlines removed on individual judgment?
